Right, can I claim 8-10 years WE for my engineering qualifications (I stopped engineering 4 years ago)
OR
4 years for my present job, which has nothing to do with engineering.
Having read the guidelines it doesn't make it clear if I can claim for my old WE, if you know what I mean.
If I can, I can get 100 points by my self, if not only 90- with very little prospect of getting a job offer within my field of expertise. (I would need PR to apply for any relevant engineering jobs)
Also 4-corners doesn't believe Sarah has a good enough qual (Diploma in nursing) to get the extra points I would need, so have suggested she revert back to being a Restaurant Manager(Hospitality is on shortage list) and get herself a job offer, using me as her extra 10 points!
Anybody else in a similar boat? How did you/are you getting around it.
