Help - some where in the depths of your very informative posts I am sure I saw a phone number for NZIS London. It was a regular land line as apposed to their £1 a minute one. If anyone has one I would appreciate it - as I am sure lots of others would too.

Many thanks.

Thank you Victoria for you very quick reply.
I have got a panic on as we submitted our application for G & P visa and had a confirmation of receipt on 15 July and since then nothing.

So I sent a general email to NZIS London, as the letter said not to contact them unless urgent or leaving home address early. An email just came back that they (NZIS) could find no record of our application to give me an update - So to say I am panic stricken is an understatement.......

In case anyone else needs this - the number states that it gives different information to that from the UK-very-expensive-call-centre number. So far I've not found any difference at all, and it connects you to the same people!

For cutting out the long rambling menu and speaking to someone straight away, dial *9 as soon as the call is connected :-)

(Thanks for the number!)

Ok - just had a reply to from NZIS - we have not been allocated an officer yet - and as we are hoping to head off in 4 weeks the gin bottle is starting to look good.

I wish I had got this number a few weeks ago when I had to phone NZIS London at £1 a minute. What a crazy system I only pay 2 pence a minute to phone New Zealand.

Pagan
I hope your wait isn't too long.We have applied under Parent policy and have received a letter saying it could take up to 4 months just to be allocated to a case officer.
