Hi everyone!

I got my temporary work visa sticker today!:raebanana

I overnight-ed it on Wednesday to Washington DC...and got it back today(Tues)! At first I was nervous when I got the package from the UPS, it came back so soon, I figured it got rejected or something. But to my surprise, the blue stickers were in my passport!:raebanana And the sticker really is PRETTY!

Now I just have to sell all of my belongings and get on that plane on Oct 15th!:raebanana

For those of you still waiting...hope it works out for you!:yes

Not sure if it happens that fast for everyone, but I really organized what I sent in. I supplied originals of everything; labeled and paper clipped by categories: qualifications, education, job offer, police certificate; I double, triple, and quadruple checked everything; thoroughly went through the checklist at the end of the application; included bank check; and mailed it in overnight and had return postage for overnight!

It does happen that quick for others also...We sent my husband's passport FeDex overnight(on a Wednesday) and he received his passport with blue stickers (PR and RRV) on the Friday...Washington DC are very quick well so we found.

Congrats! That is freakin' awesome! We sent my hubby's to Ottawa 2 and a half weeks ago......hoping we hear something soon.
