But surely that just means that we should educate forum members to remember to rate any threads that they like? A bit like giving reputation.

BTW, all the threads listed here so far have been rated by a few members, so at least a few people are rating threads?

Agree that people may not know how to do it, so yes, let's get people doing it! And yes, also agree that some people rate threads, although I am sure there are some cool ones that haven't been rated too (cool threads, rep is for cool people :D).
So for anyone unsure how: at the top of each page in a thread is a "Rate this thread" button - just click on there and decide how many stars the thread merits (iyho) and vote for it.

Not sure on rating, but by views. Just go to a section and when page opens clcik on the top row where it says "views" and it will order them in numerical order. (can be done with any other columns in either direction too.)

EDIT: Yes the above works for ratings too :)
