I'm trying to gather together some replacement values for the shipping insurance form and wondered if there was an online shop that sold pretty much everything - like our UK Argos?? (rather than trawl the whole internet for loads of different types of shops etc)

I was wondering the same thing last night, but with a view to working out how much stuff we want to ship out vs the cost of starting again.

Hope someone answers soon!

Helen

There isnt anything like Argos out here unfortunately!

You have the Warehouse and Kmart (some things are ok, some not) - they tend to sell most things - then theres Farmers, which is more 'upmarket' so to speak.

Hopefully someone else will be able to advise - i am only going by whats available in Hasting, HAwkes Bay.

Nothing quite like Argos, sorry.... you are going to have to trawl around a bit....

Not sure I would agree that it's similar to Argos, it's more like a price comparison / shopping mall type website. Might of course be useful for getting prices though.

Always found ferrit a bit limiting, my new favourite is PriceMe (http://www.priceme.co.nz/)

Brilliant links = thank you all :nice1
got no kids here this afternoon so guess I'm going to be busy trawling and getting my figures for insurance - at least that will be another job done!

I found a good web site when I was looking for a swing for #1 grandson last year, they seem to sell all sorts of everything. They have even had one way camper vans for $35 from Christchurch to Auckland and same return.
