CHECK YOUR MEDICAL REPORTS.

I know there's been some discussion about whether or not you're suppose to open the envelope or not, but I did so I could check everything is in order. Just as well, because the doc hasn't completed the 'laboratory urinalysis results' section for me :uhoh

Now I'll have to trapse into town to get her to complete it ....grrrrrr. At least I've noticed now and not after I've sent off the ITA pack.

I can second this as the Doc forgot to sign my photo, so we had to send it back in again.

We've baan chasing ours up for weeks (they were done 5 weeks ago) finally were told Dr hadn't completed husbands form as they were too busy chatting, passed on the additional info - but still no sign - rang againg to be asked if we'd like to collect or have them posted - could they have not phoned us and asked!

Fingers crossed they'll be here at the start of the week!

I could not believe how slap dash our medicals were. The Doctor kept the form for a week or so (he was meant to wait for specialist diabetic reports on me) but could not be bothered or forgot and just posted it half completed. He did not even take my blood pressure as required by the form. As it was a pain to get to his surgery, I completed all the bits the Doctor's surgery were supposed to fill in, like their contact details, and left the blood pressure blank. I got my own Diabetic consultant to copy the last two reports on me and just stapled them into the form. I imagined there would be some questions or the form would be returned but there was no problem with it at all. I didn't even get contacted by the NZIS doctors. I was amazed.
Part of me left the form because the doctors are appointed by NZIS and I assumed if they did not do the medical properly, there would be some comeback. It costs so much money (I think we paid about £500 for two adults and two children just for the medicals), you would think they would do it properly.
