Where can i get the best prices for a laptop in Auckland city?
Also a place that can provide a compariosn of various offers from different companies might be nice as well.

Have you looked at http://www.pricespy.co.nz/ A lot of those companies are Auckland based.

We got one on Trade Me by a guy who reconditions old laptops (there are a few people who do this), so it wasn't the latest specs but it was a good deal and does the job.

I second the Dell recommendation.
All depends on what you are going to use it for.
Although Dell have good specs, they have a poor reputation on the Benchmark testing side. They are good on price. You get what you spend I suppose.
