As you are aware we both had a little health shake up over the last few weeks, so i thought i would let you know where we are up to with them.
You are all aware i suffered a heart attack 3 weeks ago and Elaine had a scare last week. We are both doing ok, Elaine being back at work a few days later, but myself, well still off. I have a treadmill test a week tuesday and this will determine whether i can get back behind the wheel of trucks, or whether i have to make a career change. This is followed by a cardiac appt. I feel fine, no worries as such, just a little bout of anxiety every now and again, however this is a normal feeling by all accounts.
Have tried to return to part time hours to help me get back into some sort of routine, as being home is a brain acher, but my employer has catargorically(sp) refused, saying that he will only accept my return on full health. damn great as seeing i am unable to get any financial help as we haven't got PR, so we are just surviving on Elaine's wage. Bit tight but we'll see it through.
Anyway, the sun is beginning to shine so hopefully things are looking up in one way or another.
