We finally made it after what seems like years of planning. We touched down on NZ soil this morning. The journey was not without a little 'hiccup'. We arrived at Heathrow with plenty of time to check in and make the flight only to get to the check in desk and realise that 2 suitcases were still on the taxi (OH & the taxi driver were in charge of counting them in & out!!!!). Thankfully the lovely staff at SA were great and said that they would check the missing 2 cases in as soon as we got them back. As it was the taxi driver had realised pretty quickly and turned round. He was waiting outside the terminal!! After that we felt nothing could be worse and it wasn't. The flights were good and apart from the cattle market that is heathrow the airports were good. SA didn't even query our additional baggage allowance.
We had night flights and weren't able to sleep much so we are all shattered and will be going to bed early and hopefully be up and raring to go in the morning. Then I can post a better 'first impressions' post.

Welcome.
Been 10 days and I'm still a little fuzzy at the edges, the kids don't help that!
Have fun with cars and houses, see you next week at Spencer Park?
PS. You'll need to change the UK at the end of your username now.

Went to see the house on Tuesday - looks better than we had hoped. Drive not yet finished but should be ready by next week. Oxford is such a lovely place - quiet - not like a town, more like a small village. We ae looking forward to going back next week for a better look round the area.
