Have been off the forum for some time trying to sell the house , getting depressed with the process and finally going down the rental route as the only viable method of getting to NZ.

Blue Stickers arrived last week , shippers booked , property rented in Stanely Bay Auckland , flights booked for 19/10/08,land in Auckland 24/10 via a few days stop over in LA. Still millions of things to do and time is going too quick !!:)

The pain is nearly over and once you get into the last month before you leave you wont feel anything other than a feeling of being on a runaway train !! Where abouts are you heading in NZ?

I know exactly how you feel, except for the selling the house part. We have booked our shipping, we have blue stickers, we rented an apt near the harbor in Auckland for the first month, and our flight leaves on 15/10/08. We will also spend a few days in LA and San Diego. Its getting to be a very hectic time. We really need to pick up the speed for packing our stuff. Of course it doesn't help that our friends all want to spend time with us b4 we leave...the little amount of free time I have is now divided between getting ready for the move and friends. I wish there was more time in the day.;)

Lot of times it feels like I do so much, but still I haven't really done anything...There is just so much stuff to do still!:wah

Enough of me rambling on...I wish you the best with your move and you are not alone with how you feel!:cheers

Could any kind soul tell me how long it takes to get your work visa through. The waiting is killing me. I'm like a kid at Christmas everytime the postman comes I'm like a demented soul at the door, he must think I'm loopy loo !!!!!!!!! Maybe I am !!!!!!!
