havent heard anything bad. A few girls off the uk site live there and love it and their kids are happy (there are 2 primary schools)
not sure which ones they go to though.
The high school use to be rough, have you had a look around it? with all the new houses going in (use to be a solo mums paradise) has got a bit nobbier.
I got my parents a retirement home in pines beach (as I LOVE that place) no good for kids though as too far from a school, to walk.
so a bit biased me!!!

When I put a post on this link Psh12001, pm'd me about his time in Kaiapoi, and he has kids, pm him for his opinion.
I am going to get my daughter (7) (when I get a chance) to email his kids to talk about moving.

I take it you are really enjoying it.
What are the schools like, thinking of the secondary as well, as it won't be long before they go there?
How long would it take to get to Christchurch (Ricarton) if working there?
I have seen some wonderful houses in our price range. what are they really like?
Thanks

Hi, I also live in Kaiapoi we have a 13 year old son who goes to Kaiapoi High School and an 11 year old daughter who goes to Kaiapoi North School. Both schools we are very pleased with.
Kaiapoi itself is great it has everything you need close by without having to go into Christchurch, it even has its own swimming pool and bmx track.
Happy to help also if you need any further info.

I suppose the first question would be
What made you chose Kaiapoi?
Thanks
