I'm amazed that the council are so reluctant to analyze this 'stuff', according to the news it would cost "hundreds of dollars". That doesn't sound like a huge amount... What if it's toxic?!?!?

Here in the UK we are often told not to put fats/oils down the drain as it collects and then blocks the drains....
