Quick -- and rather obvious -- question, all:

once an application and documents are with a case officer, am I right in thinking that the sequence of events is that they always make sure all the documents are okay before sending a candidate to the interview stage?

(We had an e-mail from our case officer saying an interview was next, and when we thanked her in reply and asked if our documents were okay she said yes.)

So we're assuming that in terms of assesment the interview is the 'last' stage to go through? I'm almost sure it is.

Cheers,
Matt.

Matt, I think its safe to say that they only call you regarding your interview once they are happy with every part of your application. I guess the only part you could fall down on after the interview is when another officer double checks your application. But I think that is highlt unlikely.

Best of luck mate.

I hope that you're right. My case officer scheduled me for an interview on April 4. The only problem is, I have to travel all the way to Bangkok for a 1 hour personal interview.
