Does anyone know or could recommend somewhere to get travel insurance from UK to Christchurch, one way single travel. Most insurance companies I have contacted do not cover people who are immigrating.

We took out our travel insurance with Atlas direct, only got the cover for 5 days though as we have PR and decided we wouldn't need any longer than that. Basically we just wanted insurance in case we lost our luggage or something went wrong with the travel side of things.
I paid about £18 for me and my daughter with no excess, and my OH was £16 (unable to get family cover as travelling so far apart :()
Apparantly the cover stops as soon as you arrive at final destination, and we had to get worldwide including America as we fly via LA.
I phoned them to check that it was ok going one way, and explained we were emmigrating, and they were really good.
