Can anyone recommend a cheap company for campervans? I used Maui a few years ago but the prices seem much more expensive now.

Most companies I have seen on the web have newish models; I would be happy with something older, but still with shower/toilet.

I plan to travel sometime in April after Easter. I've noticed some companies go to their winter rates at this point, others not until 1st May.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

2 years ago seriously looked at campervan hire but it was working out more expensive than car hire plus motels. Not looked seriously at prices now we are here (renting a house to live in and going to work - shatters the dream a little) but I would guess that the scenaro is the same.

Thanks. I've thought about that. But for me the additional flexibility of the camper swings it. I like to do a lot of running, so stopping in the middle of nowhere and heading for the beaches/hills for a run followed by a shower is paradise for me.

This place has a campervan tab, and does Oz and NZ. Prices looked very good.
