Hi,
Someone posted the other day about buying either Ecover or Down To Earth products in bulk, concentrate form, but I can find the thread:o
If it was you, can you tell me the details again please :D
Getting a bit fed up with my homemade potions ...I think the essential oils block up the spray guns :uhoh

Hi, I don't buy those products in bulk but you can usually find them in New World and The Warehouse amongst other places. Not sure if this helps at all.

We buy the 5 litre cleaning products and the 1 litre of shampoo etc. Aparently some of the new liquid soaps/body wash will soon be available in 5 litre refills too, here is a copy of e-mail I received from recent query....
The new product comes in a 250ml pump pack and 500ml refill - we will
shortly be introducing a 5 litre size and this will appear on the
website
in the next week or two.
There is also a shop in ponsonby. You will find that some of the smaller items like soaps, 200ml of shampoo etc are cheaper to buy from normal supermarkets, but the bulk items work out way cheaper per use than the cheapest stuff you can get in supermarket.

Just a quick update.....
Finally made it to the Ecostore in Ponsonby..
Was delighted at products they stock, and in addition to washing powder and dish soap (which was original reason for visit) I found some lovely vegetable seeds, and non toxic veggie fertilser etc.
However I did note that I bought their Ecostore 500 ml dish soap from Foodtown was on sale for $3.49 and their 5 litre pail in the store was $37.99. So it actually cost more than the Foodtown small one, could have got 5 litres worth at Footown for $35.00 but am happy that I have not had to buy all those little plastic bottles even if they are recyclable. But I did think if Foodtown can sell it for that price, they could at least match it, since its their product.
But.... all in all a lovely little shop....
