In the UK, I run my own business from home. Let's assume my wife gets a job in NZ (over the phone or at Expo - we don't have enough points without a job) and PR. Can I then simply transfer my business to NZ or are there hoops to jump through?

If your wife gets a PR as the principal applicant then you will also get a PR and can get any job that you want, or not bother if you don't want/need to.

There wouldn't be any (additional) hoops to jump through for you from the immigration perspective.

How you go about setting up a company in NZ, well I'm sure that there are plenty of hoops there... :exit
