We were thinking of using L&P for shipping insurance instead of the removal company's insurers.
As such, they request that we sign a "disclaimer" but reading through it, they seem to relinquish any responsibility for the packing and shipping of our belongings!!!
Anyone else had to sign a disclaimer or do battle over responsibility for a claim??

Just to clarify - it's the shippers/packers that want us to sign a disclaimer for not using their insurers and choosing someone else (ie L&P) instead- (might as well throw our belongings in the container ourselves !!!)
