Just had to share with you all our brilliant day!

I tagged along on a school trip today, being the worrying, paranoid mother that I am :?

We went to South Brighton, to the surf club for a surf, sun, beach awareness day with Caitlins class(7yrs old).
It was soooo good. The life guards were absolutely brilliant and done an amazing job educating the kids in such a fun way.

The time came for the kids to go in the surf.
WELL me as I am, go into worry mode........caitlin can't swim etc etc. But made myself stop it and just chill out a bit. ;)

Soooooooo glad I did, it was great watching the kids, and getting in the sea myself :laugh
Then I realised.....this is the FIRST time Caitlin has EVER been in the surf (you know proper waves!!!)
She loved it :clap Brought back all the great memories I have of my own upbringing in OZ.

Feeling so positive at the moment. Seeing Caitlin today was just like me as a kid and brings back ALL the reasons why I wanted this lifestyle for them :nice1

Post like these are really uplifting to us guys over here - struggling to get over there.
We are having a tough time with the house sale at the moment, but this makes me realise why we are putting ourselves through it all.

i remember rowing along the thames below trees at low tide - they were decorated with used condoms like some kind of durex christmas tree. nice picture, everyone?
