Hi Guys

Thought I would drop a line as we have been very busy with our new lives ! Our dog arrives on Wednesday from the UK and the kids are very excited !
We also hope to move into our new house - bought in under 2 weeks ! the Uk market could learn a thing to 2 !

The kids have started school and settled well into their new lives . We have walked around the area , bought a car , activiated bank accounts , applied for IRd numbers , connected broadband wireless ! hooked up to mobiles and thats with me working full time .

What can I say - we are really enjoying life and look forward to our new home .

Unfortunately our container seems to be on the go slow - should have left on the 8 September . learned it left on the 20 September instead - NOT IMPRESSED - tracked it 2 days ago to find it is in the Bristol channel NOT IMPRESSED BIG TIME !!!!!!!!!!!

Thankfully work colleagues have been good and offered loans etc , the estate agent even lent us a diner set ! we are off to the warehouse to get some stuff for the next month - The dog can not stay in the rental and I would sooner save the rent !!!!!!

must sign off - up early am as I am off to Tauranga for a course whilst the others travel to Auckland to get our dog ! its a girly night in for me tomorrow

Too bad about the container - we had the same problem with our boxes!

looks like you are settling in well, we have been here a little over 2 weeks and have also bought for the same reasons as you, we do not get the keys until the end of November which was our choice, our dog arrived last week be warned they do not appear to suffer jet lag he wasinstantly wanting to go for a walk. His body clock is still out of sink though as he wakes us at 2 am for a walk! good luck

Glad to hear you are settling in all ok, often think about you all after sharing the dog farewells and being on the same flight!
Will do my own post on our experiences too, although I have to say that we are having the same problem with our container!
