Hi all!

I can't understand which Visa is most relevant for me. I am ACCA qualified and apparently I need to sit for further exams required by NZICA in order to be able to register with the professional body as required by the Visa's requirements. Moreover it seems that I need to get a job offer before applying for a Visa which is difficult given that employers don't accept applications from people who don't have a work permit!!!!!!!!

Are there any European ACCA Qualified out there who have passed through or know what steps should I take because I am really confused at the moment!!!

Hi Steve
I am CIMA yes I needed a job to get a visa but I am risk adverse to going on a visitor visa with a family to support. I did not need to register with NZCA but I am a management accountant and I will not be doing any more exams, my employer quite happily accepted my qualification as did others i had job offers from I did have to get NZQA which came out at level 7 and unless you are a practising chartered accountant you do not need to be registered with a professional body, I curretly have WTR as my employer is accredited but also have my ITA being processed. Most agencies in Wellington at least seem to be up to date with my quals all be it CIMa is actually studied in NZ!
pm me if you want to ask any more
