Hi, this may be a confusing post. But I was hoping a expert could help with some of my questions. Okay, my fiancee is a Kiwi and I was going to NZ in Dec on a working holiday & then switching to work permit based on partnership. But, we have changed a few things. I decided not to leave my job here in the US for few more months. I want to hit the one year anniversary with my job. So we decided I could go visit her in NZ Dec 14-31 as a visitor. But my question is can I get my working holiday visa now, but not activate in Dec? But just enter NZ as a visitor and then activate my WHV in April? Also can I get my IRD before I arrive in April if I have my WHV. I know this is confusing but I hope someone can help. Thanks everyone.:laugh
