finally got my EOI selected on 8/10/2008:bluebanana. i have a question i am married with one son but i am not taking my family with me due to some of my family problems.after getting my immigration can someone guide me about a law to get my son's custidy from my husband.

Hi Mehroze,

Congrats on the selection!!

In terms of getting custody of your son, I think you'd have to go through whatever system is set up in your home country for custody.

It may also play a factor with NZIS as they ask on the ITA to list your family members, as well as if you are/were/ever been married. They might find it out of the ordinary if you're leaving your son and husband behind while you're still married.
