I often check the NZIS London processing times for skilled migrants (no job offer) and it seems that they say there is a max time from ITA submission to getting a CO of around 6-7 weeks lately.

http://www.immigration.govt.nz/branch/londonbranchhome/tipsandprocessingtimes/

Has anyone without a job offer recently (like in the last 3-4 months) got their CO and ITA processed and if so how long did it take from the time you submitted your ITA?? Also, how long after submitting your ITA did you get your interview?

I was just trying to see what reality actually was compared to the times shown on the website. I know the estimated time shown on the website was way off for the time from when our EOI was selected to when we got our ITA. The timeline for this is stated to be 3 months, but ours only took 4 weeks.

We are about to send off the ITA this week and were trying to look ahead at when we are likely to make the move - this of course all dependent on the processing timeline.

Let the waiting game begin..... again.

Looking at past threads, it does seem like the London NZIS is taking much longer to assign a CO now than it did a few months back. We submitted our ITA (no job) at the beginning of September and haven't heard a thing. Does anyone know if they notify you once a CO has been assigned? Or do you just find out when you are called to schedule the interview?

they didn't notify me that I was assigned CO. When I asked about the status of my application the assigned CO replied that my application was undergoing third party verification check. The waiting is challenging!

There was a recent post on this :

In July it seemed to take 4-6 weeks but has slowed down since August.

I wish there were some kind of time guidelines like that on the Washington DC embassy. I don't know if there's any way in the world we'll be able to get my husband entrance to NZ by mid-January. Sigh.

I was hoping to have it all done with before Christmas. If it doesn't happen before then there will be a good wait until January while everyone is on holiday.

Someone mentioned on another thread that dropping them a quick e-mail regarding the status your ITA can get the ball rolling a bit quicker. I will probably do just that a few weeks after I mail it off.

Hi
Check our timeline below, we did end up emailing them as we had not been notified of a CO being allocated to our case. The email worked and 2 days later we had an interview and a few days after that our PR was approved in principle.

Checkout our timelines below. We had some issues proving our relationship status, so that's why we don't have the blue stickers yet....!
