We have submitted our ITA (finally), I have filled each form for payments to be taken from my card, could someone tell me if the payments for both application fee £685 and migrant levy £345 (£115 each) get taken at the same time as we have not sent our passports with the ITA as we are going to NZ beging of November.

I dont think that they take the migrat levy till after they approve the application

I'm just reading our ITA now, and it states:

"The Migrant Levy cannot be included in the same cheque as the application fee. If you are sending authorisation for the Migrant Levy to be charged you must also include passports for each applicant - not certified copies.
Please note: You can not pay the Migrant Levy in advance by cheque."

I'm not sure how things will work for you, considering you're needing your passports for travelling to NZ in November... good luck with your application though :nice1
