Not really sure where to put this but after having heard back from our case officer it seems that the proof of my husbands US military experience doesn't count?
They didn't recognize his official documents of experience and duration (DD214 and something else) as originals. He has a job so it isn't that much of an issue, and we won't bother figuring out what they want, but for someone else it might be. If anyone else was in that position did you have the same issue and if so what did you do?

Did you send the original signed copy of the DD214? What other docs did you send that got turned down?

I think it was an original (very battered looking) list of training for his communications experience, but I don't quite remember. As for the DD214 he was under the impression that all the ones he had qualified as originals, but maybe not if those have worked for other people. Thankfully it isn't a big deal as we have more than enough points than they want to take away for that.
