Sandra (and Dave),

It's wonderful that at last, you are on your way right along with Moorf and Woz, and we can't wait to hear how it all turns out once you're on the other side!!

Sooooo looking forward to hooking up with you guys in NZ. We'll be following your travels with great interest!! Hurry back to the forum -- we need you and will miss you in your absence -- which hopefully will be short!!

Huuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggssssssssss, Rae <dancing banana here>

Thanks so much Rae - I'm moving out of my house tomorrow and moving in with my Dad until Tuesday. Like Moorf, I'll have my laptop so will keep checking in.

I've enjoyed your posts on this forum so much that I must meet the 'real' Raeven - look forward to it. Thanks for being an inspiration, hope your house sells soon and we'll see you over there.

And I just can't wait to meet Moorf (Helen) at Singapore airport and now I know who to look for.

The champagne corks will soon be popping.

Love and hugs xxxx

Sandra

LOL, Sandra, that's one plane trip I wish I could go on with the both of you.. It would be such fun it would become legend, I think!!

We will definitely all get together once Steve and I manage to get hopped across -- it's a promise. I always look for your posts, too, and especially loved the Brits - Why We Are Leaving one. So illuminating! I'll be looking every day now till you are posting from NZ!!

Travel safe, drink lots and celebrate every moment -- you've earned it!!

Huuuuuuggggggssssss, Rae

The 'meet up' at Singapore sounds like a blast - enjoy it. I can only imagine the emotions you're going through at the moment, we'll be thinking about you and looking forward to hearing how you're getting on.

Hubby (Pakeha Boy), the kids and I should be out in Palmy either just before or just after Christmas - we'll definately look you up - maybe a bbq at the beach (Foxton, Tangimoana, Himatangi - take your choice) - what d'ya reckon.

Enjoy the weekend with your dad, have a good trip and keep us posted.

All the best. Diny

All right, all this love going around is infectious....now I wish I was meeting up with you all in Singapore! Unfortunately, I am flying an awful schedule through French Polynesia because it was so much cheaper to go that way....and hubby goes a few days before me on the same schedule. :(

It sounds like most of us Palmy folk will be in town by early next year....I arrive in country Jan 5 but won't be down to Palmy until around Feb 1. That BBQ at the beach sounds like a must do, and I am just going to invite myself if no one minds!

Can't wait to meet you all!

Thanks everyone I'm beginning to get tired and emotional already - the Palmy contingent is growing. Sorry we missed you Melissa.

Diny - fancy you being the other half of Pakeha Boy. I'll do a recce on the beaches and see which I fancy.

We'll have to have Rae and Moorf as honorary Palmy residents. And where's that SoCal Gal. She's not too far away. Pity Melissa will be there in Feb. it sounds as though we could have a get together at New Year. What a way to celebrate the New Year, a beach party in NZ. :clap

Actually Diny - I think we may be outnumbered by Americans. Where are all you Brits going to Palmerston North?

Thanks Santa dear - I'll let you know

He's a brave man - but I respect his opinions in these things and our tastes usually match. The piccies look good anyway.

He's had somebody there stripping the paint off the doors to get them to their original state and I didn't catch what kind of wood (not Rimu) they were but this bloke reckoned they were worth £500 a piece. Way to go Dave :clap

We are just waiting for the house to sell - we'll be there as soon as it does. Christmas is looking abit shakey - New Year would be brill .... will just have to book a flight as soon as the hammer falls on this place.

Yeah - good ol' Pakeha Boy is my 'old man' - and a damn fine specimen he is too (but I think I may be a little biased) - or maybe that comment has something to do with the fact that I've just spent the evening downing a bottle on Blue Nun !!

And Melissa - another one headed for Palmy, I think a beach party is a damn fine idea - and OF COURSE you are invited - and yep - Ray and Moorf get honorary Palmy residence status too.

I've just spent the evening packing away the contents of my airing cupboard - helped by the Blue Nun of course - it just all seems so real now. Went shopping with mum today - she saw a nice mens shirt in M&S and bought it for Dad 'cos she reckons it will be just fine to wear when they visit NZ next year. Yikes - how the hell must you be feeling ???????

Allison, Mr. Meliss is my boyfriend (more like hubby, really) Rick. He loves the forum, too, but leaves it to me to do all the posting. Typical! :laugh
