Hi, I was turned down for my PR because of my BMI, hopefully going to reapply end of Nov this year. I have no other health issues.
Do I need to have another medical when I reapply, or will my old medical results be OK, the only thing has altered is my weight.
Hubby and son got their PR.
Thanks

Hi there
I believe you would need another medical, they have to be submitted to NZIS with the application no later than 3 months after they were completed.
Good luck with your application, sounds as if you've worked hard to get there!

Wow kags. That's great news. Good luck with the application. Do you have to start from scratch submitting an EOI or can you follow a partnership route now?

Hi Kags,
I also think you would need to redo the whole medical due to the 3 month limit, but it's just a personal opinion. Maybe you could get a (friendly!) doctor to simply redo the weight/BMI part if NZIS are simply waiting for that?
Good luck with everything, I know you'l get there before you know it!
