you're welcome to the forum.

As your qualifications are not listed as recognised, start with NZQA. If you're in a haste, get the online PAR first and use that to submit EOI. Then apply for full reports from NZQA hopefully you'll be having results by the time your ITA comes. If not in a haste, apply for full NZQA assessment and after you have positive reports, go for EIO.
All the best

Agree with folubode. Do the NZQA first. Full NZQA assessment is preferred over PAR. If the result is a Level-9 for your Master degree, then you will get points equivalent to a recognized post-graduate qualification. At the same time if your Bachelor degree (assuming you have one before pursuing the Master) is assessed at Level-8 or level-7, you will also score points equivalent of a recognized basic qualification. NZQA will assess both your Bachelor and Master degree at the same time for the same fee if you have both, if your Bachelor degree is in relevant field leading to the pursuit of your Master degree.

While waiting for NZQA, you may want to register for IELTS course and exam for your partner (and yourself if you don't have enough evidence of your English proficiency). The IELTS will take time.

Lastly, if your 4 years of work experience was acquired in a country with a labour market comparable to that of NZ, you will get the work experience points. If not in a comparable labour market, then your work experience only counts if you were employed by Multi National Company. Otherwise, NZIS may not grant you any point for your work experience.

All depends upon your work experience. If your work experience is in a comparable labour market, you will get points which in my opinion will enable you to lodge EOI. If you work for a multinational company like siemens or nokia which are based in comparable labour market, you can only claim points for work experience. Telenor is also fine but mobilink, chinatel won't get you any points.

Your four years degree is equivalent to level 7, I have recently received assessment for my 4 years degree which was in IT and it was assessed as Level 7 (Pak degree).

See the discussion on Mehroze's EOI, this will help you to understand whole process. NZQA assessment takes 20-30 days if you pay urgent fee but again it comes to university who takes time to reply NZQA. Find someone in university and get the process kicked when NZQA requests for verification.

Where did you submitted your application ?

I studied your case, and you have less possibilities for NZ.

Best of luck
