If the 6 months expires, do you just pay and resubmit or do you have to fill it all out again?
Mine runs out on the 16 dec and it appears that come next june, my wife will have another quali that deffo gets an extra 20 points thus taking us to a cheeky 130. if I was to add this on to the EOI in late november and we got selected before expiry, could i send the other gubbins off within the 4 months with a "to follow" bit for her qualis which would be available within the following 2 months?

You really only need to prove what you put down in your EOI when you submit the ITA. I indicated that I have a current job (which I do). However, the current one doesn't technically meet NZ requirements for continuing skilled employment (since it's an 8 month contract), however the EOI doesn't specify that, it just says 'current skilled employment' and asks you to state how long you've been employed for.
Anyway, so when I submitted my ITA I sent proof of current employment and indicated that I would be signing a permanent contract shortly and would send that along when it became available. Now, I didn't have a permanent job but it's not too hard to get one in my field and I figured it wouldn't be a problem (and it hasn't been). So now that I have my permanent job offer I'll just forward it on to my CO.
So, long story short, I don't think it's much of an issue as long as when it comes to ITA time you can back up the claims you made in the EOI.

ok, i just spoke with inz who said the same thing. they also stated that it takes 3 months to get the ITA without a job offer and that we have 4 months to submit the info from the EOI for the ITA.
Elaine will be qualified in hairdressing next spring time but the trouble is, on the EOI form it asks for dates of the qualifications so technically i would be fibbing by putting todays date in to "assume" the qualification and the dates on the EOI and the qulaification certificates wouldnt match but INZ have inferred that as long as she is qualified by the time we submit the docs then that would be ok.
please help as am confused again!

can you put in future dates - that would avoid them finding out that you 'lied' if they happen to do a quick verification check at the EOI stage.
