Our application for PR was succesful and we received notification of this in May. We have to send our passports off this month along with the migrant levy: family of 4 = 4x£115, through the London office. I have been unable to get a reponse fom our case officer to confrim the current migrant levy - can anyone confirm the current rate as I recall some talk of fees having changed?

As far as I remember having just sent my ITA off you are not allowed to pay by cheque because of possible changes to the Levy so not sure what the current charge is as I gave my switch card details. Not much help I know !

Hi Cande, From my recent PR confirmation email...
The migrant levy is a one-off payment of £115 for each applicant over five and £60 for each applicant under five.
I'm paying by credit card as this is the easiest.

NZ$300 for persons aged 5 years and over
NZ$150 for applicant under 5 years

The levy to be paid only by the four oldest family members.

So the maximum value of the migration levy is NZ$1200.

Thank you for your replies.

I double checked by phone (@£1/min! - my case office hadn't returned my call/email) as I didn't want a delay becasuse I had to get passports to the the London Branch by 30 Oct.

The INZ/London Branch websites don't actually tell you the current migrant levy fees if applying to the London Branch. However, and for your information, I was told that it remains at £115/person regarless of age (ie no reduction for under 5s).
