Yep thats where we are now, waiting for the NZQA to asses our qualifications, well hubby's actually.
Waiting for a reply, hopefully a positive one, since we're going for the Skilled Migrant category.
I cannot wait to fill out an EOI!
I have been having an itch for about a week now, and wake up every morning, ready to roar, quickly going down to see if we got any email waiting... alas... Do I need pills to calm down soon?
I've been going through things in the attic, we've almost done all the stuff that needed to be done to get the house ready for sale, but we have to wait ... and I hate waiting! :wah

So ... What did you all do except post here?

Hi Hannah
It's true that time flies when you're having fun!
Just plan fun things to do, meet as much friends and family as you can.
Enjoy typical Dutch things, like: de Keukenhof, Open lucht museum in Arnhem (aanrader!), Amsterdam etc.
Distract your mind from the whole emigration process for a while. You can't do anything at the moment anyway.

cheers,

So ... What did you all do except post here?

That's simple ...... I pack, have a panic attack, work my way through the 'to do' list, wet myself with excitement, empty out yet another cupboard, have a panic attack, try to tackle the contents of the garage, wet myself with excitement, abit of housework, panic attack, shopping, take clothes to the charity shop, wet myself with excitement.

........... and so it continues............. I'm use to it now.

Today we went to an immigration fair in the middle of the country, it was not just for New Zealand, lots of other countries were being represented there as well. The NZIS was there, we had a short talk with a London representant. Some immigration bureaus, movers, pet shippers, that kinda stuff. No employers sadly enough. We might go to GB next time there's a NZ immigration fair there, anyone know of the next one?

There's one on this weekend at Sandown - might be a bit short notice for you though. I think it's on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
