Interesting. Not what I expected to come out top for me, although the one I did expect came a close second (thankfully the party I feel least affinity with came last). This may prompt a degree of further research but it is unlikely I will change my mind now.
Cheers JubJub.

Interesting, that came up with who I was thinking of voting for as no.1, someone I would never vote for as a close 2nd though

Thanx ever so much for posting this link Jubjub :clap, I was hoping something like this would come along before election time. It makes it just that bit easier for all us new voters I think !
I will give you rep if I can (if I haven't given you too much recently already :D)...
Cheers,

Definitely made me realise I need to do more research as some of the question meant nothing to me.
Cheers

I had such a small degree of variation in my answers, but one party really stood out when I changed the questions to some other categories. And they were who I'm voting for. Which is good.

Very small margin between the parties though. Not sure I could actually vote for Winston though !

Can someone explain what NZ first stand for? Are they left or right wing? Their name makes them sound like an anti-immigration sort of party, but what are they?

Hmmmm.... United Future Party for me. Never heard of them. I thought I'd have been a dead cert for Labour, but it seems I've moved to the right... I'm sure I haven't, I'm just woefully ignorant of many areas of NZ politics, so didn't have many strong views on many of the questions. When's the election? (See, that's how ignorant of NZ politics I am...)

I came out with ACT as expected.
NZ First were very close behind though - I guess there should have been a question that asked "do you oppose or support the notion that Winston Peters is a crook!".

Came up with Green much stronger than Labour, I thought they would come out closer. I'm very strong minded on some environmental issues, but not that keen on others... I think there are ways to produce food intelligently, between industrial antibiotic-full production and expensive and trendy organic. In the end the results made me see that labour isn't as green as I thought they would be, and the greens share my ideas on other issues as well.
My take on NZ first after a quick look at their website was that they have socialist values (welfare, pensions, unions) but also very strong, and rather conservative in my opinion, family based values (traditional marriage, tougher immigration policies). I think they are geared towards seniors. But I might be wrong...
