Option 1 = I use a WHV & OH uses BUNAC... We get to NZ, get jobs and start the PR process again once settled
Option 2 = Option 1 plus OH takes the CELTA program (teaching English to adults) which is a level 5
Option 3 = Use me as the Primary on EOI and have maybe 110 points and pray we get selected... however I do Financial Aid for a University so I don't think I'm really "Skilled" so if anything we would probably get WTR if we went all the way
UGH....
Anything else you guys can think of?!

Hey there,
Or if you wanted to take a big risk, you both can say heck with it and just pack and go. Not sure if that is an option for you both. Unfortunately, we can't because we have a house to sell. :uhoh Otherwise we would, we have nothing holding us back other than the house. Dang house! LOL
I like the BUNAC option, that is something hubby and I will consider if the EOI route does not work out.
Hang in there Ponies, you will get there. :):nice1

ok ... so... talked to OH and looked over the NZQA paperwork... OH said they didn't assess one of his certificates ... He took one program and received 2 different certificates... So he emailed the school and got a copy of the school catalog and sent it to NZQA... we got an email back saying that she's going to talk to her manager about it...
OH doesn't get it because the program he took was about 700 hours and about a year long and this CELTA program that he's been looking into has less hours (about 140) and only a month long and is a level 5 ! Yet we only got a level 4.... We're hoping that they will include the 2nd certificate and maybe that will get us a level 5!
We haven't heard anything from NZIS yet either so we're still on the current plan until we hear back from both places.... so maybe... just maybe we can ride out on this Plan A for a while...
Then! There is the good news about the selection which is now down to 110! I think with me as primary we would get 110 points so we're going to look it over tonight and once we hear back from NZQA & NZIS we will go from there!
There is still hope!
