Hi all,
My family is moving to NZ in December. Currently, my husband does freelance financial consulting work from home for a company here in the States. They would like him to continue working for him after we move. Does anyone know how taxes work in this situation? He has dual US/NZ citizenship.
From what I gather he would just pay NZ tax on the income (as total income will be under the US income exclusion of $80,000 or whatever it is these days). Does that sound right?
