You'll definitely get them in Auckland, at DFS on Custom Street, I think, or stores on Queen Street, although not much help for Christchurch, sorry!

There is a Louis Vuitton shop in CHC but I've felt too intimidated to go in TBH but it's near Cathedral Square :yes Ballantynes is probably your best bet for designer stuff although tis a bit 'old-fashioned' at times but think they do have an ordering service. Maybe that would help if you are after specific things rather than just shopping experience although that would be much less fun :laugh

Yep, there is a Louis Vitton shop in Cathedral Square. Ballentynes does sell Ralph Lauren and Lacoste stuff... however, I find it very overpriced (much more than those brands would go for in North America)... in fact, when I go 'home' once a year I take an empty suitcase and do all my shopping there before coming back to NZ.

not sure why you would come from US to NZ to do that shopping, it will be a lot more expensive here, probably even with taking the dollar exchange into account!

Was thinking the same!
And the lines they stock here aren't always current or extensive...

Probably cheaper to get a ticket to the US and stock up instead! :)
