Dear I want to apply for IQA I have some questions.

• If I submit online application on 1st DEC tentatively when I will able
to have my Original Education Document return from NZQA?

• Can I expect results in 35 Days?

• Can I apply for two degrees verification in one application?

• Is there any expiry for result, mean can I use NZQA result after 2 years :D ?

Hi,

I submitted my NZQA online application on 1st of October using **Fast Track** mode. On the same day I handed over the documents to the courier service. The documents reached the NZQA Wellington office on 6th. I received the NZQA assessment results back with the originals on 28th of October. So all took 28 days for me using the Fast Track mode. :yes

You can apply for up to 5 qualifications (degrees in your case) using the same application. :)

I do not have an idea about the validity period of the assessment results.

Thanks dear,
I want to submitt EOI Can you please advice i will initially go for PAR or IQA.Also NZQA full assessment is must at any stage if i stat my EOI with PAR?

Here is answer for you.

If you submit EOI without any qualification assessment, it may be selcted initially but then IMM NZ will ask you to provide PAR before issuing ITA. PAR is usually done in 4 weeks time.

Full assessment may take longer, it depends upon the university. The case worker from NZQA will request the university to verify the credentials, and if university do not take longer time, it usually is quite fast. Case worker will send two requests to University only, one in the beginning and one after few months to remind them. Some universities charge fee for verification. In that case worker will ask you to pay the fee in treasury and provide him receipt, which he forwards to university.

It comes to university, full NZQA assessment could be done in 20 days and it may take months.

Full NZQA assessment is required at the time of submitting ITA.

If I’m not wrong, NZQA will usually return the original documents with the assessment result. In my case, I submitted my application on 1st Sept, I was only assigned an evaluator almost 2 months later (After countless phone calls), as I needed my original certs urgently, I requested to have it mailed back 1st. Fortunately, my evaluator was speedy in responding to my request and I got my certs back 1 week after, while assessment is still in progress as of now.

• Can I expect results in 35 Days?
As mentioned above, it depends. Count down to 35 working days starts only after you have been assigned an evaluator.

• Can I apply for two degrees verification in one application?
Yes

• Is there any expiry for result, mean can I use NZQA result after 2 years ?
Oh I can only answer this question after I receive my NZQA result.

What i suggest to go for pre-assesment and after getting EOI selected send for full assesment.
U can apply for EOI on pre-assesment.
