Good Luck to you and yours.

I'm sure you won't need it though.

Once you make the decision to go it does seem to take on a life of its own doesn't it.

We first thought about it last year but we didn't think we'd got much chance of being accepted so we didn't make any serious enquiries. Then when we decided that come what may we were going to make it, things started falling into place.

Verrrry exciting times eh?

Great stuff and well done, its certainly no small feat

HI

we hope to move out to Tauranga ,in sept /oct

Dave is an Electrician so we will probably get a 2 year work to visa at first , seems silly ...thought they are desperate for Electricians ...but they make them jump through a few more hoops ...

thanks for your good wishes

Hiya Marie & Dave

Can't believe how quick things are going for you, keeping :hopeso that you get an interview with NZIS soon.

Will bring a DVD of NZ with me to the 2nd April meet. Hopefully we'll be able to play it (in the background) on PB's laptop.

See you soon.

Fingers crossed for all of you who have sent of ITAs and are awaiting the next step.

Don't want to be accused of giving false hope, but I don't seem to read about too many refusals and outright negative decisions. Am I right in thinking that there's a large percentage of success stories flying around this forum? I hope so.

Good luck all.

Just wanted to add that we collected our med results today from Manchester and I'm posting the ITA tomorrow. At last! What a long haul. Lodged EOI last August, drawn on the dreaded 1st September and ignored until mid February. But all that's forgotten now :yes

I'm actually considering hiring an ex-FBI agent to take it to London in a tungsten briefcase secured to his wrist by a chain. Wonder if Bruce Willis is free? :laugh

Cheers all,

Brucie Baby agreed to reduce his usual fee to a much more reasonable £6.55 and promised to tuck my docs in his grubby white vest overnight until he does a starsky roll into NZ House tomorrow morning. Fair do's I thought, although he declined my offer of overtime ;)

Actually, the mid 50's, rotund, balding chappie behind the Post Office counter peered at the address on my envelope over his glasses, po-faced, and said "You've been then?". I said Yes, enjoyed a trip there last year and wanted to go one way next time. He then says he got back from a three week hol there last Thursday!!!! I thought NZ was a secret! Think I'll start telling people I'm going to Oz. Don't want the crowds following do we? :?

Anyway, do you think the PO tracking site will actually show your parcel as a blob on screen going down the M6 and turning corners etc?
