Hubby has secured a job working for Hall's Refrigerated Transport in Takanini South Auckland.

Anybody any suggestions for nice area to rent/buy within the surrounding areas.

It's a bit tricky trying to research areas without actually being on the ground so to speak

Any observations welcome!

The areas around Takanini to look at are Conifer Grove, Papakura, Some areas of Manurewa are okay ie; Hill Park.

I would recommend to you to look for property around Botany/Howick areas which still isn't too far away for your OH to get to work, the Schools are better and more to do and I honestly think you would like it more there.

Let both familys research together as we will be heading to exactly the same area :laugh Flick onto the Realenz site,search Auckland with the city Manakau City or Papakura, then into the multiple zones and have a sniff. A good help also is the book Where to live in Auckland. This gives a good indication on what you want. I will bring it along on the 2nd for you both to have a look at.
