Hi
Congratulations!
First they review the info that you claimed in your EOI and decide whether you have made relevant claims for points etc. They might contact you if they have a question or want prior proof of anything but if all is ok, then you should find that your on-line status changes to Decision Successful which means that you've passed the prelim assessment stage and usually within a few days of this happening, you ITA turns up in the post.
The timescales differ depending on if you have a job or not. See our timeline for our dates - we don't have a job offer.
EOI Submitted 26th June 2008
EOI Selected 2nd July 2008
DECISION SUCCESSFUL 4th September 2008
ITA Received 5th September 2008

Hi there,
For the EOI, you may be contacted if the person working on it has any questions or need clarification on something. We were contacted a few weeks ago because the person working on ours had a few questions about my job. Have not heard anything since.
I am under the impression when everything checks out, the status on the website changes to "Decision Successful" and the ITA turns up shortly afterward with any notification from the NZIS.
Congrats again!:nice1

Sorry if my wording was confusing, we have not received an ITA, we have been selected. Still waiting LOL However, someone from the London Branch emailed me about my the work I do that I entered into the EOI. I emailed him back with the answers to his questions and have not heard anything since. We are getting bit antsy! LOL:o

Hi Victoria, I remember you thinking about whether it was worth submitting with 110pts - :nice1
Our dates were similar to yours but 1 year ago, but things change. We expected 8 weeks or more and had decision succesful in 4 weeks.
Give it a while (or you will go crazy - this will happen a lot) and check your online status. On eday it will change to decisiojn succesful and you will get your ITA in the post 1-2 days later. We watched the postman coming to our door to see if he had a large envelope!
Good luck and enjoy what you can. It is really worth it when you get here.
Edit.
You have probably been told already, but start collecting all of your paperwork together. Medicals can be booked quite quick when you have the ITA as are police checks now (apparently?). Although the police lasts 6 months so may be worth considering doing in a few weeks?

I feel the same what you feel now. :yes
The nzis site says that without a job offer assessment lasts up to 3 months, so your timeline is still normal and I believe that everything goes according to your plan :)
I'm pretty sure about myself too, since I'm the right person :D
however, in my case, thanstation of documents might play a malicious joke, so I'm warried a bit.
Good luck!
