Hi I just thought I'd ask does anybody on the forum work in the Chemical Industry?
All the posts I have read seem to be from IT, nurses, teachers, etc. I have trawled through what seems like hundreds and have yet to read any from people in the same line of work as myself.(manufacturing/process/petrochemical industry)
My family and I have researched companies and have vistied NZ twice so we know these buisnesses do exist and as luck would have it the area we fell in love with on our second visit (BOP, Tauranga) has some, hopefully potential employers.
We are due to arrive in 10 weeks and are really looking forward to it but still ask our selves from time to time 'MY GOD WHAT ARE WE DOING, WILL IT ALL WORK OUT?'
That said we are determined to give it our best shot and have as much fun doing it as we can.
Anyway I'm starting to go off on a tangent so like I said

:uhohIs there anybody out there?????????? :uhoh

Hi, I'm a chemical engineer, working in Auckland for an industrial gases company. I don't really know much about the job market in this area though sorry because I've only worked for this one company in New Zealand for about 8 months, and worked for them in Australia before that. But if there's anything I might be able to help with please ask!
