I am freaking out. There is so much to get done. So. much.
But this is a big hurdle behind us now. Things are looking good from the paperwork end of things.
Now, to find renters and pack up our lives and sell our cars and just generally try to figure how to do all of it. I'm too overwhelmed with the logistics of how to pull everything together right now. Sigh.

Good for you, we submitted our EOI forms two weeks ago and the day after we got a yes. Then yesterday the emmigration agent rang me to say they have invited us to apply for residency. Sat with the forms now and tommorrow and the day after.
I have a job and we travel on the 12 and arrive in Christchurch on the 14th.
Good Luck,
Helen

good luck! I hope to learn alot about how to do this in your coming posts! We're now aiming for March or July. I get the feeling the paperwork is the easy part (but we haven't done that yet either!). Hope to read lots more in the coming weeks and months!

I am freaking out. There is so much to get done. So. much.
Well done :)
You'll get there, honestly. Make some lists, and start with things that you have already done so you can cross them of straight away.
So is all you need now in the way of paperwork children's passports and you are ready to go?
Good luck,
Daniela

Yeah! It all becomes very real now doesn't it? :D My only advice is make lists, lots and lots of lists so you can cross off lots of things.
Good luck!

The kids' NZ citizenships certificates, and their canadian passports should be adequate. That's all I'm going to do for now anyway. The paperwork aspect is done now. Now it's the physical issues of moving to deal with. This forum has been so great for support and networking and brainstorming. Such a fantastic resource.
