Checked INZ site yesterday (just like any other day!) decision still 'pending'. Checked the site again this evening and lo and behold, Christmas has come early in the TipTop household...decision APPROVED :clap Flights are booked for December 30th, we land in NZ New Years Day, and a new beginning :nice1 OH starts work on the 12th January, so residents of South Taranaki beware - your electricity supply may go off from time to time...new lineman on board :exit

We are flying from Heathrow on the 30th to arrive wellington on the 1st. Any more out there flying on that day ?

we got our passports back today with they lovely blue stickers in them...wasn't quite what I had expected, I had visions of a little blue sticker - like those that get stuck onto fruit - placed somewhere on the main page (but without breaburn or fyffes on it:p). Imagine my surprise to see complete pages covered in blueness! its true what they say...size DOES matter!! ;):laugh

Funny you should say that...we were toying with the idea of a weekend away at Paradise Valley, be rude not to really!! Already decided what family thing we'll do together the day after we arrive to eeease our way into things - Stratford has a speedway meeting (must have heard we were coming :laugh) and well, it's practically on our doorstep - start as we mean to go on I say :nice1
