Well I have now worked out my wifes salary and my monthly income. Accordingly, we hope to have no mortgage and a before taxes income of approximately NZ$95000 per annum.
I know lots of things can cost more in New Zealand but given the above income will we have a good life????

It's really very excellent!
Of course, I don't know the standard of lifestyle to which you are accustomed, but off the top of my head I'd say that with $95k NZ annually and little or no mortgage, you'll be doing extremely well!
