I thought I'd write a quick review of our medicals a few weeks ago as I've not seen anyone mention this doctor before on the forums, so thought it would be useful for anyone searching in the future.
We went to see Dr Brendan Smith in Manchester (John Street - MedMigration). He works alongside the legendary Dr Million.
We were offered appointments on the same week as we tried to book which was good - so we had them nice and quickly. The location is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the nearest tram stop in Manchester. The reception was warm and the staff friendly and good with our kids (aged 4 and 1.5).
Dr Brendan Smith was great, very efficient, and on time. The medicals were over in less than an hour for all four of us, including the blood tests. The best bit was he was excellent at taking blood. I'm fine with having blood taken, but my wife is really bad. Even she found it really good.
It was then downstairs to the x-ray room where they did our x-rays.
Cost: About £850 all in, and the visit was over in less than one and a half hours.
The results were returned about 10 days later.
I'd certainly recommend this doctor.
