tomorrow it will be 8 weeks exactly since we flew into Auckland

as many of you may know we've been real lucky/fortunate with our new life so far but here is a summary....


Sam got several job offers and accepted one in Cambridge
put in for 2yr work permit and got it through within 2 weeks
got kids into their schools (1 in primary, 1 in middle and 1 in high!)
put in our EOI and got selected next day
had offer accepted on a house

and ...
latest update...

Last Friday we had 2 exciting things... we settled on the house (less than 2 weeks after having offer accepted and we are moved in!!!) AND we received our ITA :clap:clap

not to get too morbid or anything but I do actually believe this :) Earlier this year, back in UK, I went to visit my Nans grave on the 5th anniversary of her dying. Had a little chat etc. I was a bit fed up at time as house stuck on market a year and we couldn't get out to NZ etc etc.

A week later we had offer on house (and sold 4weeks later) and now here we are in NZ living our dream and I thank my lucky stars every day. A few people have said things along the lines of how it's all working out so well etc and maybe we have someone watching out for us...
