Another freezing day in the UK!

I am piggy backing on my wife's SMC residency application as she has the degree and I don't so we get better points that way.

(swallowing male pride on this one!)

It is highly likely that I will get a job and be the main bread winner once we get there.

(male pride restored ...)

We're both in ICT and it's hard to get a job until you are in a position to work (i.e. there in NZ, visa and work permit sorted).

However, if I am lucky enough to get a job offer whilst in the UK, and bearing in mind I am NOT the principal applicant, will this still fast track the application?

I'd be interested in the response to this as well, since I'm the principal applicant with the degree but my OH has a job offer (it's not in a high-demand area though, so we'll see if this makes any difference).
