Hi everyone,

We just got our PR and live in Auckland at the moment. We didn`t come to NZ to live in the city forever, so next step. We will start visiting some interesting places to live now.
We really don`t know where to start, but one important thing for us is the weather. So that would probably be a good start. Is there anyone who knows a website about the hours of sunshine/wind/rainfall of places in NZ?
I have been searching Yahoo, but can`t seem to find any climate description per city or region in NZ.

Try www.metservice.co.nz and see if that helps. They are really good on the hindsight type of stats but the NZ weather people generally are a bit on the dodgy site when it comes to forecasting :yes We reckon you need a degree in creative writing to be a weather forecaster over here.

www.weatherbase.com is my favourite. Gives weather details anywhere in the world. You can even chose between celsius and farenheit.
