Well we had to do it...
Took a day off and handed over 'the package' by hand, first stage of our mission accomplished.
It was nice to explain the amendments, job offer etc in person and see the first round of checking being done there and then.

So, exhausted and looking forward to a long weekend of - When will we know then?

The sun's out gang, enjoy the Spring before we head off into Winter.

It's like a mission isn't it? A real sense of achievement in handing in your hard earned application - job done!

Now sit back and relax! :no (as if you can?)

Good luck Capt.
We popped into town on Sat and got caught up in the anti-war protest. Police out numbered protesters by about 3 to 1.
I digress, sorry. You are almost home and dry, and from what others here are experiencing, I dont think it will be very long till you get the big thumbs up.

No appointment required, just ask at reception for Immigration and someone will show you up to the waiting lounge. Be given a number and wait to see the next NZIS body that is free. It was strangely empty on Friday though, we have seen it busier before.

Cheers Timbo, sorry you got caught up in the demo, I think those things always seem quite daunting/scary if you're not involved. :?

Thanks everybody, biggest worry is now shifting the house (had 2 lots of 2nd viewers no show - and we spend a lot of effort cleaning for them) and Mrs Xmas starting work in June..... :hopeso :hopeso
