Perfectly timed with Genesis upping their prices, had some leaflets popped in the door today from a representative from Nova Gas.
A little bit of scanning over old bills and Nova prices suggest that they could save us money. Especially now that our bills with Genesis will be even more expensive than previously.
Does anyone have any experience with this company? Any good?

We've just signed up with Nova Gas - on one of their dual energy tariffs - after having received one eye-watering bill too many from Contact Energy!

We haven't received a bill from Nova yet but, on a straightforward rate comparison on the Consumer website, Nova Gas came out significantly cheaper for us than anyone else in the Wellington region.

Their customer service was quick and efficient too. The only downsides I've found so far is that their customer services centre is closed on weekends (although they are available 24/7 in the event of an emergency and it's not really a big deal once you've been set up) and they weren't able to set up anything like Contact's Smooth Pay arrangement, so you have to pay the full balance after each bill.
